Westview Lakes participated in the City of Hampton's Neighborhood Month by having an Association Picnic / Armed Forces Day Recognition as our theme for 2005. The event was held on Saturday, May 21st from 1:00 pm—4:00 pm. The picnic was declared a success. Attendance was over 3 times that of an annual meeting. A good time was had by all, especially the children. The City of Hampton provided grant funds to help pay for our picnic, so a minimal amount of Association funds was required. |

A Jungle Moonwalk with a slide was rented for the children. I was a huge hit with the younger set. We had hamburger and hot dogs cooked on the grill, ice cold watermelon and a very large cake. Even with all the people that came and ate and ate and ate.....we still had plenty of food. |
