Yard of the Month Contest - 2005

Once again this year, the Board of Directors has decided to award prizes for Yard of the Month.  This contest  is geared to promote competition by owners within the Association in maintaining their yards.

We will award the same 2 awards as last year, YOM for Single Family Homes and YOM for Town Homes/Cluster Homes.  The year we will be  offering a new award called “Most  Improved” YOM.  As in the past the requirements are that you be a member in good  standing (no delinquent assessments and no open violations).   Remember your yard can only be awarded the honor once in the calendar year 2005.

This new award will not necessarily be awarded each month, but will be awarded when a noticeable improvement is made on the yard between the previous and current month.  This new award is open to all categories and if you win this award, you will still be eligible for the YOM for the category your home qualifies for. 

The judging for the contests will be the last weekend of April, May, June and July, 2005.  Awards this year will be a YOM sign for the winner’s yard, pictures taken for the web site and a gift card.
